What are the signs of an STD?

However, it is important that you realize that the lack of symptoms does not mean that the STD is not causing harm to your body. That is why you should get yourself tested if you are sexually active.
Symptoms of common STDs include:

- Burning sensation when urinating
- Pain during intercourse
- Unusual vaginal discharge
- Presence of sores or bumps near the genitalia, mouth or anus

When should I get an ultrasound?
After a positive pregnancy test your next step is to confirm the pregnancy by receiving a limited ultrasound. An ultrasound can tell you important information about your pregnancy that can aid your decision-making process. This is crucial information to have to determine if you have a viable pregnancy and what your next steps should be.
How much will my appointment cost?
Because our focus is on your health and wellness, we offer all our services to you completely free of charge. That means that you do not need to bring proof of insurance or report your visit to your insurance provider.
Do you offer free pregnancy tests?
Yes, as is the case with all our services, we offer lab-quality pregnancy tests for free at our center. The tests we use are 99 percent accurate and can detect a pregnancy as early as seven days after conception.
Will anyone find out about my appointment?
No. Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. You can relax and know that we will not inform anyone of your visit, why you came in, or what we discussed during your time here. That information is strictly confidential and is only between you and the member of our center who met with you.
I’m pregnant. What are my options?
If you recently discovered that you are pregnant, you probably have question about what you should do next. It’s okay to be confused and uncertain during this time – that is completely normal. We are here to help answer your questions and guide you on this journey.
We can share information on abortion, adoption, and parenting in a non-judgmental, safe environment. Remember that the choice is yours alone to make. We will only answer questions, provide information, and offer our support to you. It’s ultimately up to you to determine what makes the most sense for you own situation.
Can I get an abortion here?
We do not provide abortions or abortion referrals at our center. However, we provide you with accurate and current information about abortion procedures and risks. We strive to provide you with all the necessary information that you will need to make an educated decision about your pregnancy that you will feel comfortable living with long term.
We will also answer any questions that you have. It is important to make sure that you have trustworthy information to use for making your decision. All the information that we provide is delivered in a non-judgmental setting, so you can rest assured that the decision is yours alone to make. We are here to help you in any way that we can.
Can I purchase the abortion pill online?
It is illegal and dangerous to buy the abortion pill online. For your safety, LifeTalk Resource Center would strongly discourage purchasing from online suppliers. Those products are not reliable and might cause significant harm to your health.
Do I need insurance for my appointment?
No, no insurance will be needed for your appointment. Our services are completely free and confidential so there is no need for you to share any insurance information to anyone at our center. Our only concern is to ensure that you receive excellent care in a comfortable and safe setting. That’s why we never charge any clients for the services that they receive at our center.
