Prenatal care is the health care you get while you are pregnant. It is important that you take care of yourself and your baby.
It is important to receive prenatal care early in your pregnancy to ensure the health of you and your baby. During your visit to LifeTalk, a nurse will fill out a medical history questionnaire, provide a pregnancy test, and do an ultrasound (or schedule an appointment for a follow-up visit to obtain an ultrasound). They will then provide you materials and information to educate you on how to have a healthy pregnancy.
Upon request, LifeTalk will also provide a Proof of Pregnancy so that you can obtain Medicaid, and will provide you with a list of Ob/Gyns who take Medicaid.
